How the score works
Each fund is compared only with other funds in the same category, using Regular plan returns as published by AMFI.
- Alpha. For each period, the fund's annualised return minus its benchmark's return.
- Peer percentile. Each measure is placed on a 0–100 scale against the other rated funds in the category. 100 is the best in the category.
- Score. A weighted average of those percentiles, plus a consistency measure: the share of periods in which the fund beat its benchmark.
| Measure | Weight |
|---|
- Funds with less than 3 years of history are listed as Not rated.
- A fund without a 5-year record has its two 5-year measures counted as average (50). A fund needs a 5-year record to reach the very top.
- When a fund has no 10-year record, that weight is spread across the other measures so the total stays 100.
- Q1 is the top quarter of rated funds in the category, Q4 the bottom quarter.
- Funds below ₹500 Cr AUM are marked Small AUM.
- Information ratio shows how steadily a fund earned its extra return over the benchmark. Higher is better.
- Rank changes and score trends come from earlier files added on this device.
